When Din accepts a new mission to help another young child, Cobb must learn to support his lover while also trying to do what is best for the villagers he has sworn to protect. When the unexpected arrival of a malfunctioning decommissioned battle droid threatens the peace of their desert village, Cobb begins to see another side of Din he never new existed, along with hints about a darkness from Din's past.
Some time after completing his mission, Din has now settled into a comfortable life in Mos Pelgo with the resident Marshal who he now has an equally comfortable relationship with.
